Leapfrog Elevated Dining in Bangkok - a Hop, Skip and a Jump from Sukhumvit Road

Leapfrog Restaurant and Bar offers a great getaway from the hurly burly of Sukhumvit Road, but can be reached in five minutes by walking from the busy Sukhumvit/Asoke Skytrain and Metro intersection.

The trendy food and drink outlet sits atop the recently opened Ramada Encore Hotel, and offers patrons just about everything they could wish for: air-conditioned serenity, swimming pool adventure, romantic outdoor seating, trendy disco beats, private parties, happening events and a stylish menu.

And when it rains, as it so often does at this time of the year, the crew swings into action to unravel the establishment’s waterproof awning.

The Restaurant and Bar was designed by award winning Kevin Christison from San Francisco, whose brief was to offer guests various indoor and outdoor dining options to suit any mood, budget or occasion.

Leapfrog opens daily from 4pm until 1am, and is already a proven party destination, with organisations such as Bangkok Young Professionals, Amcham Young Professionals and BBCT organizing events on the premises recently.

Californian Cuisine has been adopted at Leapfrog, although it has been adapted into what the chef and his team portray as “CalifornAsian Cuisine”.

One of the most popular dining choices is the signature tapas tree, which features five different treats: Ratatouille Calzones with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Cherry Tomatoes and Bocconcini Skewers, Mediterranean Chicken Burgers, Grilled Paprika Shrimp Skewers and Salmon Bites with a Spicy Dip.

Resident Manager Sebastein Tronchet describes Leapfrog as being “midway between a vintage London Bar and a chic Californian Restaurant.  We aim to bring you everything you need in one single leap.”


Leapfrog features a separate VIP room for more secluded dining or partying.
