Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is Bangkok's Latest Deluxe Establishment Near the Chao Phraya

Tourists and business people seeking a Bangkok hotel that is away from the hustle and bustle of the main Sukhumvit and Silom regions, while still being in the loop, could do worse than check out the brand new Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn.

Opened in May 2012, the 390 room luxury hotel sits in the relative peace and quiet of Sathorn Road, right next to the iconic Blue Elephant Restaurant, and connected to the Surasak BTS Skytrain station by its very own skywalk.

Fantastic views of the city and the Chao Phraya River are provided by rooms on the upper floors.  An infinity pool is the highlight of the 14th floor, where you can also find the Azure Mediterranean Restaurant, serving cuisine from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Lebanon and Egypt.

Other outlets include the ground floor Swizzles Bar Lounge, the Chef Man Chinese Restaurant, The Glass House, providing all day dining, and the Executive Lounge where complimentary breakfast and cocktails are served.

The 1,200 square metre conference and event centre is spread over two floors, and contains a grand ballroom that can be divided into three small rooms, three meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
